A real American hero also died this week, though, sadly, he'll have to take backstage to Ronald Reagan. Ray Charles probably effected more Americans -- and more people all over the world -- than Ronny ever could. And his rendition of "America the Besutiful" certainly inspires more patriotism in myself and everyone I know than any speech by Ronald Reagan.
I can't harp only on the bad done by Reagan; it's just that I can't really think of anything too good. Because he won't make the history books and was probably never on the cover of the National Review, Ray Charles will take a back seat. Yet he was more genuinely American that Reagan, more real, and certainly more soulful.

Cleveland. Drew Carrey and Harvey Pekar. And a team called the Browns.
You must be wondering what I'm talking about.
Found this on Althippo.
That's when Fahrenheit 9/11 hits theaters. The feel-good hit of the summer, so to speak. Y'all can watch the trailer right here.
